LEKolizja supports physicians and pharmacists in quickly finding information about drug interactions based on the SmPC (Summary of Product Characteristics).

-- SOURCES AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER --

LEKolizja is an information tool intended only for physicians and pharmacists.
LEKolizja relies exclusively on the SmPC (Summary of Product Characteristics).
The service uses AI models to find and organise information within the SmPC text.

>> Every result:
1) requires the user's own assessment;
2) requires verification against the current SmPC of the product in question;
3) LEKolizja makes this process easier by showing quotes and marking the relevant SmPC passages directly in the results.

>> Medical disclaimer:
LEKolizja does not replace the SmPC, therapeutic decisions or professional clinical judgement.

-- ACCOUNT AND LICENCE RULES --
------------------------------------------------

>> Account types:
1) individual (physician, pharmacist)
2) institutional (pharmaceutical company, medical facility)

>> Rules:
1) An account is assigned to the chosen type and may only be used in accordance with that type and the purpose of the licence.
2) An individual account is for your own professional practice and does not cover institutional use.
3) An institutional account may only be used on behalf of the organisation in question.
4) Example: a pharmacy licence covers use within that pharmacy's activity, not private use or use on behalf of another entity.
5) Sharing the account with third parties or using the account contrary to its assigned type is prohibited.

-- SCOPE OF DATA --

>> Data provided by the user:
When creating an account you provide an e-mail address.
Depending on the account type you may provide additional professional and profile data and, for an institutional account, also the organisation data needed for the service to operate.


>> Technical data:
The service may collect basic technical data needed for its operation and improvement, e.g. language, device type, screen resolution, time zone, platform (operating system) and user agent (browser identifier).


>> Usage events:
For statistics and security, usage events related to the service's features are recorded, including search queries, selected medicines and checks of medicine sets (medicine identifiers).
An event entry may also contain the date, account identifier (where applicable), IP address and browser information (user agent).


-- ANALYTICS --
The service uses PostHog for basic analytics (https://posthog.com/). PostHog may use cookies or similar technologies.


-- PROCESSING PRINCIPLES --
Data is not sold to third parties. Data is used to operate, develop and improve LEKolizja.

-- TECHNICAL PROVIDERS AND TRANSFERS --
The service uses external infrastructure and service providers: Microsoft Azure, Google, Vercel, Supabase and PostHog.
These providers process data only to the extent necessary for hosting, application operation, database, authentication and analytics.
Data may be processed globally (including outside the EEA), depending on the configuration of the services and sub-processors, in accordance with the providers' terms.

Data is processed in accordance with applicable law (including the GDPR), on the basis of your consent and/or legitimate interest (improving functionality and UX).

Data is stored for as long as necessary for the purposes described above (or as required by law).

You have the right to:
- access your data,
- rectify your data,
- erase your data,
- object to processing,
- data portability.

>> Exercising your rights:
A request to exercise your rights can be sent to the contact address. A reply is given without undue delay, as a rule within 30 days.

Reasonable security measures are applied, but no method is 100% perfect — please exercise caution when sharing data.

This document may be updated. Significant changes will be published in the service (or sent by e-mail if they concern the user).

The service is not intended for persons under 16 years of age. I do not knowingly collect data of such persons.
